Durpro has a wide range of diverse databases that provide over 3,000 assignees to our clients daily. Our range extends beyond Johannesburg and Cape Town, although we are currently predominantly based in Durban.

Meet The Team

Jacqui Denny

Managing Director

Jaqui graduated from UKZN in 1999 with a B.Comm (Hon) Degree in Personnel Management and Labour Legislation. The early years of her career were spent with Deneys Reitz Attorneys, where she gained invaluable experience in South African labour law.

This experience set Jacqui on the path to labour force management when, in 2008, she and her partner decided to purchase Durpro Workforce Solutions. At that time, she became its Managing Director.

Durpro Workforce Solutions is a specialised labour management and human resources partner that has grown exponentially in the 9 years Jacqui has been at the helm – setting the standard for agile, client-focused, and cost-effective solutions – keeping Durpro the number one independently-owned workforce provider in South Africa.

Brian Denny

Director

An employment and labour lawyer based in the Durban practice since 1991. Brian specialises in employment law, commercial litigation, and forensic investigations (theft and fraud recoveries) and has constitutional law experience.

Brian has advised and assisted clients in all employment and labour law aspects. He is involved in litigation for his clients in the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, High Court, and Supreme Court of Appeal. Together with his partner, Jacqui Denny, they purchased Durpro Workforce Solutions, where Brian plays a key role in advising the company in all legal aspects of labour force management.

Jackie Skilton

Operations Director

Starting at Durpro Workforce Solutions in 2013 after successfully running her own national recruitment company for three years, Jackie joined the Durpro team as Business Development Manager. Jackie was promoted to General Manager one year later, followed by her appointment as director.

Jackie has been instrumental in growing Durpro’s national footprint by creating additional revenue streams and strategically developing our service offerings. Jackie has irreplaceable experience assessing companies and creating holistic and client-focused solutions, from conducting human resource and internal audits, project management and policy drafting to negotiating service-level agreements.

Phakamani Nqabeni

IR Director

Phakamani has extensive experience assisting employers with trade union negotiations, strike management, conflict resolution, wage negotiation, arbitration, and implementing the Labour Relations Act as amended. His innate understanding of all aspects of labour force management makes him an impressive and formidable ally who always puts the client’s needs first.

Phakamani also has a long and successful history of representing clients at the CCMA since 2009 and has not lost a case.

Andries Ndlovu

Director

Andries Ndlovu started at Durpro in June 2007 as a Junior Labour Consultant. Over the years, his vocation within the Durpro team grew from Labour Consultant to Industrial Relations manager. Nowadays, he is a company director, specialising in IR – and a company shareholder.

Andries’ vast experience shaped the development and delivery of Employee Relations strategies for both Durpro and its valued clients. Strong relationship management has enabled him to build disciplined and positive relationships with management and employees alike. He has an extraordinary success rate in union negotiations, using strong stakeholder management experience to build momentum and effect change.

Robust, motivated and determined, Andries has a clear passion for IR, with the ability to operate successfully in complex businesses.
